PROS:Variable radio frequency controlResponsiveWell BuiltINEXPENSIVEAwesome remote flash controlCONS:The cord for the remote flash fits my camera a bit funny.I recently purchased this item for use with my Canon 40D and Canon 420EX. Upon initial testing, the item had far surpassed my expectations. The remote shutter worked just as advertised with both time and bulb shutter. When connected as a remote flash, the unit triggered my flash with every push of my shutter. I was very pleasantly surprised. I have no idea how they could have improved on this item.I previously wrote a negative review on this item, but it turned out to be user error, not mechanical. Once I figured out what I did wrong with my setup, the unit worked like a DREAM!The only downside is the remote flash cable fits a bit too snugly onto my camera for my taste, it scares me a bit everytime I disconnect it.I seriously suggest buying this unit over any more expensive ones.

I didn't buy the transmitter and first receiver here, bought the set from a friend. Just came back for a second receiver for another speedlight I bought. I wish the transmitter locked on the shoe, is fits snuggly, for the price no complaints. I have only had one misfire with these, and I think it was the speedlight batteries getting low or pushing the recycle time. These don't support eTTL, so you will be adjusting flashes manually. I like them because they are wireless and support four channels. One thing I didn't think I would use, but actually came in handy recently, was the fact you can use these to trigger the shutter remotely on my T1i. If you're looking for a cheaper alternative, until those big bucks come rolling in from the wedding shots, grab these.Works on neewer TT560/ speedlight 430EX/ speedlight 430EXII

By FirePatrol
My experience with this product has been terrible. The battery life is ridiculous -- to the point that I have to change the batteries out every other day. At first, I thought that I might not be powering down the device properly, but aside from taking the batteries out of the device when not in use, there really isn't anything else to be done.I've also had great trouble syncing the camera trigger with the remote. It often drops the connection and must be unplugged for several seconds before it will re-sync. This happens at least twice each time I try to use it.When the product works, it works great. When it doesn't work, it's just frustrating.Update: I've also contacted the China-based customer service contacts listed on the website. The only suggestion I've received is to return the product through Amazon. I was also informed that the information on this listing is incorrect; the company will only supply a 12 month warranty for the product.
