A lot for the money

This is not a $600.00 or more wide angle lens for my Canon 550D, but for the price it is a lot of fun and has given me great results. Two fellow camera buffs saw the lens and played with it for a while and then had me order one for each of them. That says a lot about the quality and value.

Great macro for fun, 'dont's expect too much as fish eye.

I haven't used it much yet but as soon as I got it, I tried it on my 18-55mm lens. I don't have a point for comparison versus an actual fish eye lens yet but I'm sure this one is not even close to what they do. However, once you unscrew the bigger section (fish eye), your lens becomes a very decent macro. For the price, consider it as a fun toy for experiments and maybe for a serious shot once in a while. In addition, the package includes an adapter which make it work attached to a powershot SX series camera with 52mm filter size.

This is an excellent lens for the price

I was extremely skeptical about purchasing any type of these lenses - I had never heard of these add-on aftermarket lenses. But, this lens is way worth its cost! Nice clear and as sharp as your lens attached to the body can achieve. After looking at the results of this lens to some results of a true fisheye lens, there is no doubt that this is a good buy and starter lens for fisheye shots. Pretty simple to use out the box, it without the adapter (which came with lens) screwed right onto my Canon EF-S 18-55mm lens. Appears to be of strong durable build and not like a toy. It definitely has weight to it. Overall I'm very pleased! Hope to buy a few more of these to help accelerate my shooting capabilities without spending a ton of cash!
