cheapo filters are cheapo

3 crappy filters in a nice case. The money filter here is the polarizing filter. And it's crap. A quick test to see how well a polarizing filter works is to look at an lcd screen through it and rotate it 90 degrees. On a good polarizing filter, at one orientation it will be almost clear, and at 90 degrees to it, it should be black. With the included polarizing filter, it barely shifts the colors in a rotation, which means it doesn't ever really filter out the light. It's not really worth calling it a polarizing filter. UV filter is I dunno, since digital cameras don't see UV anyway, but at least it keeps the front element clean if you go to the beach or something. The flourescent filter seems off color as well. I wouldn't buy this product again, unless you're looking for a $10 case for your filters, which is kind of a nice case all things considered.

A great way to protect your lens

I actually just bought this set to protect my lens. No matter how careful I am, I always find a way to accidentally touch the lens. With the filter on, it's much easier to wipe off and keep clean, as well as protect from dust and scratches.I took a couple of before and after shots, and as far as filters go, I can't really see the difference. But I'm going to continue to keep the UV filter on any way, just in case. If nothing else, it's a very cheap insurance policy to protect your lens.It also comes with a handy carrying case and cleaning cloth. For under $10, it can't be beat. I highly recommend it. My camera is a Canon T3i and the filter screws on perfectly. The protective cap still fits over it too, so I don't have to take off the filter to store it in my camera bag.

These are quality filters for a bargain price. You could spend much more for filters and they would be no better than these. They have good optics and are well made. they do the job .
