- With Build in Aperture control, It is a solution of using Canon EF lenses to adjust aperture in other cameras with external aperture ring.
- For bottom difference of Canon EF lens, this adapter doesn't compatible for Canon EF S lens, such as: EF S 10-22mm; EF S 15-85mm; EF S 17-55mm; EF S 17-85mm; EF S 18-55mm; EF S 18-135mm; EF S 18-200mm; EF S 55-250mm; EF S 60mm

I use this to mount my Canon EF lenses on a Panasonic GH2. I had looked at options from different other brands and was surprised that no reviews were made for this product so far.First the basics, a little rehashing from the reviews of other EOS to m43 adapters:- You will only be able to focus manually, you cannot control the aperture via the camera body, nor will IS function properly if your EF lens has that feature.- You can stop down your lens via depth-of-field preview from your EOS body and detaching the lens.- You will get a doubling of the 35mm range from your EF lens on a m43 body (50mm will function as a 100mm), so keep the shutter speed in mind if you don't have a lot of available light.- Because there is no communication between the lens and your m43 body, your EXIF data will not show any info from your EF lenses. Now, on to more specifics about this particular adapter:- The build quality is good. It has a little bit of heft and feels very well-built. I've mounted six different EF lenses just fine (including 5 L lenses)- The aperture ring shows 2.8 to 22 (as you can see in the picture). I noticed fotodiox offers a 1.7 to 22 range, and Pro Optic mentions steps 1 to 6.- On 5 L lenses I tested (17-40, 24-70, 24-105, 100 Macro IS, 70-200 f/4), there is some vignetting which starts to show just a little at 5.6 and progressively gets darker fast. You might be able to correct some of the vignetting at about 8 or 11 but probably wouldn't want to go beyond that.- On 1 lens (50 f/1.4), I was able to go through the entire range without serious vignetting (up to 22).So based on the price I paid for the adapter ($54), which was one of the cheaper options for an adapter with an aperture ring (compared to $80 from Fotodiox, $100 from Pro Optics, and $160+ from Kipon from Amazon as of when I wrote this review), I think it's a good bargain; especially if you have several EF lenses. For under $20, you can get an adapter without an aperture ring and shoot wide open (or use the trick of stopping down your lens on the EOS body first). However, I feel that the fact that I can shoot with most of my lenses at 2 stops down (2.8 = wide open, 4 = 1 stop down, and 5.6 = 2 stops down) with very slight vignetting makes it worthwhile. It would be nice to be able to use the full range of the ring (which again, I can do only on my 50 f/1.4). My guess is that this is just a physical limitation due to the distance between the lens elements and the aperture iris of the adapter. The fact that I can use my existing EF lenses (especially the L glass) on the GH2 is awesome. NOTE: If you have don't have fast glass (< f4), you're probably better off sticking with the cheaper adapters that don't offer an aperture ring.

The product effortlessly connects you EF lenses to any micro four thirds camera. It works best of you set the camera on aperture priority. Then you focus manually.exposure is calculated by the camera automatically, You put your camera on a tripod for big lenses. You need a lens with a collar for support,so you put the lens in the tripod and the little camera hangs off the back. It is good if you have an Olympus with image stabilization built in to the camera, but you have to enter the focal length manually for this to work. Many cameras have an enlarged view for manual focus so you can fine focus. You should see the pictures you can get with a 400mm lens, equivalent to 800MM.

By Ricky Flip
I can now get my Canon glass on my Panasonic GH2 micro 4/3 cam and control the aperture a wee bit. The iris does vignette on the corners increasingly more as you go more telephoto with your lenses. Redrock offers an adapter that actually lets you use the iris in the lens, but it is infinitely more expensive. So this adapter is awesome for the price.
