Prompt delivery. Well-packaged. The 58MM flower hood fits my 70-300 mm lens securely and is sturdy. A quick turn to the right and the hood is ready for use. When putting the hood on the 18-55"" lens, I had to make a minor adjustment so that the hood did not obscure the picture.Due to my own miscalculation,the 52MM Lens hood does not fit my newest camera - a canon sx40hs. I hope to use this hood with a future camera.

This is a great, economical companion purchase if you bought the Nikon D5100 bundled with the 18-55 and 55-300 lenses, since Nikon didn't see fit to include this type of hood for either of the two lenses included in this bundle. The hoods fit securely to both lenses. The only complaint with the product (hence 4 stars instead of 5), and it is a minor one, is the top/front of the hood is not threaded, so no additional filters can be used, and the lens cap does not securely snap in place, since Nikon's lens caps rely on the threads to secure them. The lens cap will still be in there pretty good though, and through normal, use (read: for most people), this shouldn't be an issue. I will probably pick up a couple of extra lens caps, just in case.
