I will be honest I did not know what to expect from this kit but with all the options that it came with for so little a price I was very impressed. The remote is a little annoying to open to get at the battery but that is pretty much my only gripe. Remote worked flawlessly and I am very pleased and happy I went with the non-tethered remote. I just had a mental image of someone walking in front of me and snagging the wired remote and seeing my very expensive camera drop to the ground and shatter =(The mini-spider legs tripod fits on my wife's Nikon AW100 excellent as well as my 60D as I don't know if these screw threads were uniform between all manufactures or not but it fits great =) I have used each of the three tripods with my EOS 60D flawlessly. Don't let the low price fool you for the average non-pro photographer this kit is excellent.NOTE: For the large tripod when you are raising everything up make sure you unscrew the locking caps so you are not working so hard to crank the height up. I am sure the folks who have said this thing was cheap and broke after a few uses must have not paid attention to the locks and tried to move things with them secured and stripped things out... use common sense and take your time getting familiar with the functions of your equipment and you will enjoy this kit for many years to come.

Great product and great for beginners. Tripods seem sturdy and exactly what was advertised. I have a Canon T3i and the products work great with my camera.

The wireless remote is ok, the flexible tripod is ok except that it is not stable with my 18-135MM lens. the full tripod is real cheap in construction, all plastic and not very stable.
