By C. Judd
I'm a Nikon still shooter and recently bought a Canon 60D to shoot video. With my older Nikkor primes, this works perfectly. I mainly use the Nikkor 20mm 2.8D and 105mm 1.8 AiS. Both produce stunning HD video on the Canon 60D.The metal is nicely machined and fits tightly. The little release lever works fine--not optimized for quick lens changes but works well in all other respects. The focusing chip seems to work well, too, if you plan to shoot stills with this. You manually focus and the focus light in the viewfinder lights when you're in focus.I may buy a second one to keep on the other lens so I can change lenses more quickly.

This is never going to be as fast as changing lenses on the native camera body (unless you buy multiples of these things for all of your lenses) but it still does the job. It can be difficult to get the hang of pressing that little lever and turning the adapter at the same time, but with some practice you can change it out without much difficulty. If you do not mind the loss of certain auto features this is a great solution. There are plenty of cheaper choices and there are plenty of more expensive choices, but I am thoroughly satisfied with this model.

By Photography Fan
Works...but1. It is not easy to mount the Nikon lenses. Sometimes they get a bit tilted when they are being screwed on..so they don't connect very well. Happens more often than I would like.2. This is a "focus confirm" adapter...it will make the camera light up the red dot when in focus...but will not autofocus.3. Does not support changing aperture...if you want to change the aperture, the lens must have an aperture ring for adjusting the aperture manually from the lens itself..not the camera.
