By Steven P. Gatdula
These battery packs each have (650mAh) which is approx 1/2 the mAh than Canon's battery pack (1120mAh). This means they last half as long and they charge twice as fast. Both of these batteries are tantamount to 1 Canon battery but is half the price. I can take over 700 pictures in 4hours with one of these battery packs with my Canon T2i constantly on and the pic review set at 2seconds and the battery meter will not even drop one bar. These battery packs are well worth the money spent.

By Daniel Bullock
What I know about this battery after using it for 3 charge cycles: It may out-perform the OEM battery in terms of total number of shots / video per charge. It's voltage is slightly higher than the Canon OEM battery so you may have some battery meter issues. On my T2i 550D the indicator shows full battery life when it's nearly dead. I've also seen it show half life when its actually dead. This must be from the voltage difference. Luckily there will be a warning flashing you can't ignore and can then change it out. If you are going to use it for video only, you'll get to know the life cycle and change the battery out proactively when you think it's getting low. I see other reviews that don't experience the meter issue so it may only effect certain models. I still use my Canon battery as the primary but overall for money it's a safe bet for back-up batteries.

I haven't had mine long enough to comment on overall life of these batteries. I bought them to be emergency backups and for the price I would be happy with only a few hours. So far I've shot almost an hour of video and about 90 photos on the first charge. Camera still reads full power so these met my expectations perfectly.EDIT after some time: These are great. First pair of these (in a batter grip) just died and needed charging. Hundreds of photos taken in that time and almost an hour of experimental videos. Best value Ive ever had in camera batteries.
