This is a functionally excellent and well designed multi-function control. Functions include shutter release (with 'hold' for bulb), self-timer delay, timed exposure, interval timer, all adjustable from 1 sec. to 100 hrs., and number of exposures (1 to 399 plus unlimited). The controls are well laid out and easy to use. The buttons are large and easy to use. The screen is easy to read and and can be backlit (bright compared to other brands). It uses 2 AAA batteries (included) and, unlike Aperture and other brands, has an on-off switch for battery preservation (though the settable data is lost when shut off). The only slight negative is that it seems somewhat plastiic-y. I would recommend it as good value.
